Bio/History: Sam was born on November 5, 1992. He was born in Maine New York in a nice town. His family was pretty much an average middle class family. They had great neighbors and great friends. His life wasn't "perfect" but it wasn't bad. Sam had a girlfriend Nina, also at the time. At this time 2008, when Sam was 16 a new girl came to school, Tanya. Sam and her became great friends.
During that year his mother began to act very strange, then weeks later his father. They weren't the same. They were never home anymore and when they were home they never payed Sam any attention. Sam got fed up one day and went off on them. It was then Sam's parents spoke to him about joining them, he was confused and his father then grabbed him violently. Sam tried to fight back but then his mother grabbed him to. Suddenly an owl flew in through the window and began to attack his parents. He felt he had lost his parents and then ran away.
Later that day he came across the same Owl and it suddenly shifted into Tanya. It was then Sam learned of the war and about what happened to his parents. Tayna was an animorph that was recruited by someone else. An animorph group heard that there had been possible yeerk pools in Maine so Tayna was merely just more of like a look out to see if the rumors were true. But after seeing that Sam's parents were taken she figured there were more.
Tanya took Sam to New York where he helped out the animorphs and once he proved that he could take on the responsibility having animorphing powers he was given the powers. Later on Sam and Tanya split up but planned on seeing each other again.

His parents hadn't been the same. They never listened to what he had to say and they never even bothered to look at him. Sam would leave the house and they wouldn't look at the door. Sam probably would've done drugs in front of them and they would have just sat there and ignored him. Sam was getting fustrated, he wanted to know what was up. Several times he tried starting a conversation but they turned away or just acted like they didn't here anything. At night though Sam would hear them talking to each other, but in such low voices he couldn't hear them that well through their door.
It started with his mom then with his dad. Then once they both began to act weird they would leave the house with out leaving a note or anything. Sam noticed it was every three to four days. So one day Sam didn't go to school, that day they left again, early that morning. Every thing was driving him crazy. Once they got home they were silent. He didn't even know they got there until he heard the closing of the door. Once he heard then go up the stairs and to their bed room door he jetted out of his room and pushed himself through them and the door...
