Hey,
So this is a suggestion/question/announcement/whatever. Little bit of everything mixed in there so, yeah, I'll just get right down to it.
1) When I finish typing this up I'm going to PM Dean the password to Seiya's account. As my phone has informed me, the August 11th date has arrived. Congrats.
2) That comes at a good time because I just re-opened Jullian's account. Since Seiya's was my last account on AE it would have meant losing access to the site. Since I couldn't find his old profile I just typed up a new one.
3) Can I get his old post count back? I don't think it makes sense ICly or OOCly really to have a morph teacher that's a trainee. Plus, the character has a lot of mileage on him. Still, if that violates some rule or something don't worry about it. The last thing I want is an abuse of power incident. Too close to home.
4) Speaking of power roles, can I be a mod of AE? I'd like to be a voice on the site and to help in its recovery. I've stayed out of it mostly because I didn't want to sound like I was the old admin and cramp Dean's style. But now that he has the account (or will) I'd like to be more active in the recovery. However, again, I don't want to be the cause or in the center of any abuse of power incident. I also can understand if you simply say no for whatever reasons. In fact I don't even need reasons. It's a request.
5) I noticed when I was looking through the morph ranks that you changed the first three morphs to 10 (forgive me if there is a discussion of this somewhere). I think moving those beginning morphs down is a great idea but why three at 10? If they're not gonna come in a lump sum at the start of play like they used to is there a real reason to keep them a lump sum? Why not one at 5, one at 10, one at 15 and then the last at 25 or something like that. Whatever spaces you want. It is tiny spacing but it can give you something to post for in those beginning days.
Ok, I think that's all the AE thoughts running around in my head. As my last post as admin just wanted to say congratulations to Dean and to the others out there who have been helping him revive the site. I'm really impressed by the work you've done. Not that I should be surprised, you all have always been a great creative team to work with. I feel really honored to have helped create something people want to continue to put work into. Good luck.
