Of course it being 2009 on AE doesn't mean that it's also October, but...
Anyone interested in a Halloween thread? This mostly goes for the folks in the Academy, as I think they're the only ones who'd be in the mood for a Halloween party.

Okay, since if we took the time to RP out a full set-up Halloween would probably come and go before we ever got to the party, I'm just going to start with a party thread. It'll probably still be going till after Halloween happens IRL, but this at least gives it some time. I'll give a brief description of the lead-up to the thread in the beginning.

Created the thread as a masquerade sort of thing (it seemed like something that could be organized pretty quickly without too much effort ICly). Whoever goes next, if they post in the party room, feel more than free to flesh it out.
I'm thinking it would be funny if we said that a small group of folks devised a plan to spike the punch/soda/whatever later on. I know it's been done in an AA thread (and so has a masquerade) but that doesn't mean that it isn't totally within the realm of IC possibility. Nineteen would so be in on that. If anyone's interested we can run that thread at the same time as the Halloween one, knowing that it started before. If not, we can always say it happened without worrying about playing it out. Unless no one is interested at all (I dunno if I wanna say Nineteen could pull it off by herself, but I might if this is the case).

Okay, Rum-Runners, the thread for getting the alcohol, is up. If you'd like to be in the thread, please send a tell to Nineteen. I don't mind having other folks join but there should be a good reason that Nineteen/Xander/Gage would trust that your character wouldn't rat them out. On the other hand, if you want to have your character almost catch them, or come in and then leave during the thread, you're more than welcome to do that as well. =) |
