Elizabeth stepped off the Bug fighter. Her footstpes softly echoed in the huge hangar bay. She turned around to face the pilots inside the ship and waved at them before walking off towards a set of doors. She kept glancing around as she clutched a small cloth bag to her side. In it were the few small trinkets to remember her former life by. A pack of pencils, a pad of paper, a fish hook, a picture of her family, including her sister.
Liz wiped her eyes. Thinking about her sister had already made her eyes water. She tried to forget about that and focused on each step she took. A wave of warmth rushed over her as something inside the bay stabilized the air temperature. Her clothing was by no means light, since she had been living on the Great Lakes for a few years, but there was no way it could stand against the Antarctic temperature outside. It was only the warmth already in the bay and delaying her exit form the Bug fighter for a few minutes that kept her from freezing once out.
She was close enough to the doors now that she could hear some footsteps in the hall, that probably lay beyond the doors. That meant someone was coming. It didn't surprise her that the person who was probably supposed to greet her, hadn't been on time. After all, her own arrival had been delayed by a day. It was quite interesting how well alien technology fared against a severe thunderstorm. The storm over Georgia had been dreadful and had lasted for almost half a day. Then the pilots had to spend several more hours fixing the bug fighter where lightning had destroyed the shields and cloaking device.
Elizabeth stopped and waited for the unkown person to come in to greet her.

Sara stepped off the bug fighter, watching the new recruit as she stood waiting for someone to greet her. It was a routine to get off the ship and check things over before they took off from the Academy, and an intelligent one really. They didn't need anything happening to their fighter when they were in less friendly territory.
Ethan, Zach, and Adamo were still on board, but Sara always liked getting off the bugfighter. It wasn't that she didn't like the ship, she just felt like she spent a bit too much time on it, at least it felt that way after all the missions she'd used to go on in DC faction. These days she lived for the moments when she was in morph scouting for recruits.
Sara could hear footsteps, and a part of her hoped it would be Matt's face that rounded the corner. It wasn't always him though. Still, she got to see her twin every time she was at the Academy, she just sometimes had to go find him herself.
"Sounds like someone is on their way," she said. It felt like the polite thing to do, talking to the girl, though she really wasn't sure how Elizabeth would feel about her and Ethan. After all, they were the ones who'd gotten her into this whole situation.

Dean tugged on one of his boots, skipping on a foot while trying to keep moving down the icy hallway. Seyia had caught him right out of the shower, telling him to go greet a new recruit. He didn't see why he was the one most suited, he felt that one of the Academy's teachers would probably be better. But hey, it wasn't like he had anything else better to do.
Dean finally got the boot on, turning his attention to the other foot, a t-shirt in one hand. His hair was still wet and he had a towel on his shoulders. It was quite a funny sight to see, all and all.
As he neared the hanger (It was pretty much the only place he was sure how to get to) he pulled on his shirt, not bothering to tuck it into his jeans. He saw two girls standing on the exit ramp to the Bug Fighter. He kept in trying to dry his hair with the towel, even when he got to the pair. Archer looked at the one who seemed the youngest, giving a smile, saying "Uh...hi" lamely.

Liz picked up one cheek to give a half-smile and shrugged when Sara pretty much stated the obvious. It was pretty easy to tell that since the acoustics in the rooms were pretty good. Liz assumed that she might have wanted to start a conversation. It was almost a shame that Liz wouldn't talk. But she was quite willing to listen to anything that Sara might've said.
Then a man walked in with a towel around his wet hair. Did he just wake up...? No, he probably got out of a shower. Liz based her conclusions on how the man's appearance did not appear as neat as normal if one took proper time to make sure everything was neat and acceptable. Then came the greeting.
Elizabeth smiled and waved in response. No words left her mouth like usual. She stood patiently with her arms folded against her stomach, wondering what was going to happen.

Dean realized then just how ridiculous he must look, and promptly stopped rubbing his head with the towel. He probably should of tried to look a little less like trailer park trash and a little more friendly and....kempt.
He chuckled, saying " 'Names Dean, and you are..." He stuck his hand out. Then he looked at it and rubbed it on his jeans just to make sure it was clean. He stuck it back out again, trying to put on his best smile.

Elizabeth laughed a little with the man. Then he introduced himself as Dean and asked her name. Liz froze, unsure of what to do. She did not want to talk, yet it would be very rude not to give her name. She could do that, couldn't she? Just say her name? But she wouldn't say anything else.
The time that passed was only a few seconds, but it was a noticeable pause. Then she smiled widely, placed her hand in Dean's and said, "Liz." Surprisingly, her voice didn't crack or anything, despite it have been three months since she had spoken last. She shoke his hand a bit before withdrawing her arm and folded hr arms a bit. She looked at Dean, hinting for him to continue the meeting.

Dean felt like a bully, frightening Liz. Why did they send me to welcome this girl? I'm the last person who needs to be trying to make someone scared feel welcome! Dean sighed after Liz gave her name and took her hand back as quickly as it had come out.
He rubbed his neck again, a wincing in apology. "Sorry, I'm not realy great with people...at all", He said with a small smile at the end. "If you want I could just point you in the way of the teachers and staff, I promise not to bite either way."
He spread his arms out, shrugging, "So whatdya say?"
