Name: Ruby Marina.
Age: 17
Birthday 16/2
Gender: Female
Hometown: Bristol, UK.
Nationality: British.
Languages Spoken: English, a little Japanese.
Description: Slightly below the average size for her age, she is a good runner with flaming, shoulder-length flowing red hair. A clip in the shape of a tear/water droplet is always seen on the left side. (a gift from her parents 10 years ago) She has a heart-shaped face with green eyes. Ruby wears a light/dark-blue-and-white jumper and jeans under her green gillet. Her face is serious around new people.
Skills: Ruby has stealth skills, and was trained in martial arts. She can memories faces and sounds, despite her disability.
Personality: Ruby has a calm personality, but fires up easily. Prefers to think of self as a loner, and doesn't speak unless talked to first. She is loyal to those she feels close to. She has in-school friends, but rarely sees them. On occasion she wishes she didn't have training so that she could spend time with them more, like everyone else. She longs to have someone, a boy preferably, to love besides her parents, but doesn't know, due to lack of experience, whether anyone would ever like her in that way.
She tends to feel a martyr, if she knows something is bothering one of those close to her, she will wish the pain upon herself, or risk her health or life to make that person happier. Sometimes she believes she's too kind for her own good, but puts this aside when occupied. If ever a friend turned upon her, she would have to be convinced by alot to attack back, though she would take the hits if she thought it would turn the friend back to normal. Once she is driven to attack, she normally plans to attack until the person is near death before she comes to her 'senses'.
Bio/History: She had a harsh school-life, being bullied because of her disability, which she has since trained to overcome. She trains with her auntie everyday after school and college, leaving barely anytime for study or leisure activites. Yet she is top of her classes. She still has some enemies but so far has managed to avoid conflicts with them as of yet. And she has noticed that the majority of her class-mates and teachers have been acting strangely, yet she puts it down to stress over the amount of work everyone is doing.
Very recently she was resting from training and word of a so-called 'invasion' reached her. Rushing home she found her parents gone. Finding no trace of where they might be, she packed some of her things and left, seeking the whereabouts of her parents and revenge should they be hurt. Finding the acedemy, she agreed to be trained after finding out what may have happened to her parents and by who.
Starting Morphs:
Land: Red Squirrel
Bug: Moth
Other: Pygmy Owl
Scene with Parent:
Having dressed, ready for the day of college ahead, Ruby headed downstairs to grab her slice of toast before heading out of the door. Her mother spoke from behind the counter.
"Ruby, you're running late..."
"Yes, mum..."
Ruby smirked at her mum before grabbing her bag and her coat, putting on her shoes as she reached for the door handle.
"Oh, Aunt Ella says she'll be slightly late picking you up today."
Ruby stopped and turned to her, the handle half-way down.
"Mum... Seriously, I'm getting sick of this 'training'..."
"You'll thank us one day, you know..."
"Give me a situation where I might actually need it..."
Ruby got a smile from her mum, and left the doorhandle.
Reaching her, she wrapped her arms around, and got a hug and forehead-kiss.
"Have a nice day, hon."
"I will, mum, you too."
Releasing eachother, Ruby glanced at the clock then rushed to the door again, stopping for a split second to reply to her mum's statement.
"Love you, Ruby!"
"Love you too, mum! Tell dad the same!"
She didn't know that those would be the last time she'd hear those words as she shut the door behind her, munching on her toast as she headed down the lane to the bus stop.
