No Godmoding.
You can not control another character in their physical or emotional actions or reactions. It is fine if you have your character interpret the actions of another since real people do that, but don't insist your interpretation reflects their actual reactions.
Be respectful to your fellow RPers.
Communities, especially literary/creative ones, work much better when you respect the ideas and the people around you. You are entitled to disagree -- and disagree passionately -- with your peers, mods, and admins. However, you are obliged to be civil when doing so. Any instances of hate speech (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc) are likely to result in your immediate removal from the site.
The C-Box.
The C-Box is a useful tool for communicating with other players. It is an OOC tool and shouldn't be used for IC interactions. You can use it to chat or ask questions to the site as a whole, but keep in mind that the whole site is reading. Please don't spam the C-Box. If you do, you will be warned. If you persist, you'll be banned from the C-Box.
Account Limits.
Only one character may be played per account, excluding Controllers Due to the nature of the yeerk-host relationship, though they may essentially represent two characters, Controllers should be played on a single account. There is a three account limit per player. Anyone wishing to create more accounts will need permission from one of the admins, for EACH new account: permission granted for a fourth account does not cover a fifth.
Post quality.
Posts must be a minimum of two paragraphs, each at least 5 sentences long. Chat speak is a terrible practice which you should never engage in, especially not here. Ex: "u' instead of "you" or "nite" instead of "night."
Canon.
No relationships with canon characters, no outlandish connections to canon events. If you would like your character to have a history involving any of the canon characters or their adventures, write it into your profile so that it can be approved by a mod or admin. Understand that it's unlikely to be accepted.
Explicit Material.
Posts on the public boards should be have a PG-13 rating. If you want to play out something more explicit then contact an admin and your thread will be moved to a password protected board.

At this time, instances of rule-breaking will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Lesser offenses will result in a warning, while repeated offenses will be treated more severely. Banning will be a tool used only after careful consideration, but it can and will be used should the need arise.
