Just Follow Your Nose (Jullian)

"Good," Jullian said with a large smile. Learning to track someone or something had been the main point. While Jullian had never run into a situation where tracking someone had been useful he had once been in the position of being the one needed to be tracked. He and Ember had gone into the city and gotten into trouble and if Rian hadn't found them they may not be alive right now. Being able to track a team mate or maybe even an enemy would undoubtedly come in handy.

"That was the point of the exercise," Jullian said, repeating some of his thoughts. "Well, the tracking part anyway. But any time in morph will help you gain control and I'm glad you feel you have control of your dog morph now. The more you learn your morphs the more you'll be able to make use of them. Not just in morph, but getting into and out of morph will be much easier." Jullian had advised them all to practice their morphs outside of class but he was always looking for opportunities to ensure they got their training in under his eye as well.

"Let's head to the mess hall. I'm sure we could both use some food."

Richard was glad that he figured out the point of the whole thing as it would have been really bad if he had done everything wrong during this exercise. He hadn't figured that the morphing control thing was not a part of the exercise, but Richard was glad that he had gotten in some practice with the dog anyway. It was like getting a bonus on a test that just made a student feel even better about the test.

"Food does sound good right about now. I didn't think that morphing this much would make me wish that the Academy was next to a pizza joint or something, but I guess we learn something everyday." Richard exited the room and headed in the direction of the mess hall. He was kind of looking forward to the next class that he had with Jullian if it was anything like this one had been.
